I arrived late, but was still the first racer at the track. I was surprised to see a white Vespa, which it turned out belongs to the EMT, Jack. After me, Rob and Robin Devlin were next to arrive, followed by Tim, AD, and Deck. Tim had brought along about a ton of chicken, and several cases of beer.

Tim, Deck, AD, and I hit the track and took several laps in the counter-clockwise direction. It felt good, and my TS1 was pulling strong. Rob's Lammy is in the shop, so Deck let him take his for a few laps, too.

My first mechanical challenge was when my hydraulic piston pulled out two of the three bolts securing it. Not repairable at the track, I was limited to rear brake and engine braking for the better part of the day.
Waiting for the track to dry. My Dad, Mom, and Rob's Dad. No, that's not Hustler, it's Scootering. Tim, AD, Frosty, and Deck
A brief shower afforded us the perfect opportunity to chow down on chicken, corn, cole slaw, and beer. We let the kart kid dry the track up for us, and we were back out there within an hour.
Not a lot of pics of this "heat" because I spent most of the time on the track, and didn't do too bad, considering. Everybody could corner better than me, and having no front brake was no help, but I think the 225 TS1 showed its stuff coming out of the turns. I need to put this racing engine into a racing scooter, and then see what happens.

Jack's Vespa 90 runs nice, and doesn't smoke! Speedfight 2
A good time was had by all, and we're all stoked and ready to do it again. Deck and Tim have both posted more pictures in the Files section of the SouthEastern Scooter Racing group on Yahoo.
